I'm Laura Young, an independent artist trading as ly-art.co.uk, based in Brighton, UK. This page explains what personal information I collect, why, and what your rights are. I keep it to the minimum I need to send you your art and reply to your messages.
What I collect
- When you order — your name, email, phone, and shipping address, so I can take payment and post your work. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; I never see or store them.
- When you message me — your name, email, and what you write, so I can reply.
- When you join the newsletter — your email address.
Who I share it with
Only the services that make the shop work:
- Stripe — payment processing (their privacy policy).
- My hosting provider — stores the site and order records securely.
I never sell your data, and I don't share it for advertising.
Cookies
The site uses your browser's local storage only to remember the contents of your cart. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long I keep it
Order records are kept as long as I need them for accounting and customer care. You can ask me to delete your contact messages or unsubscribe at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data I hold about you, or to unsubscribe. Just email me and I'll sort it out.
