Step into a world where every brushstroke is a feeling shared. My art is shaped by real experiences — each piece invites you to connect, reflect, and evoke emotion.
Hi, I'm Laura, I'm so glad you found your way here!
As a mixed-media artist, I've always found that art is the best way to map out the things we carry inside. My work is deeply personal, rooted in the shared experience of being a woman and the specific, overwhelming, journey of living with PMDD (Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder.)
For me, creating isn't just an outlet, it's how I navigate emotions during my hardest moments. My pieces are an honest look at the female cycle: the heavy fog of the difficult days, the intensity of the luteal phase, and the quiet clarity that eventually returns. By sharing these shifts, I hope to take a condition that often feels isolating and turn it into something we can hold up to the light together.
Grouped not by colour or scale, but by the feeling that shaped them.
I take a small number of commissions each season. Pieces are made slowly, in conversation — you tell me what you'd like the work to hold, and I respond with sketches, samples, and finally a finished piece.
New work, studio notes, and the occasional honest word about living with PMDD. No more than once a month — promise.
